Our Story

Furnace Brook is a reflection of the love & passions of its custodians Diane & Alistair Gould.

After getting married they moved to Furnace Brook in 2012 and began transforming this old fishery into a wonderland of biodiversity and sustainable living.

For over 40 Years Alistair has dedicated his life to creating spaces & places that reconnect us with the natural world, whilst developing technologies & partnerships that guide us towards a more sustainable future

 

Diane Gould

Diane is a 5th generation Pearly Queen & her family have been “raising fun & funds for our children’s futures” for more than a century
